Daddy is 89 today. With a birthday on the 22nd of June and Fathers' Day on the third Sunday in June, they're always within a week of each other, so we get one gift and call it both. Mother was 88 on May 2. Of course the second Sunday in May is Mother's Day. It's not as close, but hey, it's close enough, so we cut that corner as well. It's nice of them to have planned that way for us before they were born, much less met each other and got married, don't you think? Happy Birthday, Daddy! I should have sent a card, but instead I'll print this out and send it. The corners on my box are round enough it looks like a circle. I love you anyway, whether you can tell or not.
