Don't pay the ransom?

I signed on to blogger on this account today, and since years ago son David had given me access to his blog, I think to see how he did something in formatting so I could copy it, my dashboard said he had updated his blog today. Of course I read it before I proceeded. And since even with his last blog before that being posted October 17, he had me beat as to last blog posting, I'm even more motivated to actually update this page.

Come to think of it, I've changed the settings and I don't know it it will get there or not, but we'll deal with that when the time comes.

Dec. 06
Dec. 07
I'm doing well. Very well. I've lost 57 pounds since December 17, 2006, making more than a hundred total, and I'm a less than a third of the person I once was physically, but twice the person I was a year ago--or more--spiritually, psychologically, emotionally, almost any way you look at it.

I've stopped playing computer games and filled the gaping hole with creative activities. I'm transcribing my father's World War II letters and working hard on the anthology Silver Boomers. What a book it is! I'm anxious for the rest of the world to see what we editors have been seeing for the last several months! And it should be released within the next couple of weeks.

I've written most of three books this year, and some of them will shortly be published by Silver Boomer Books, the partnership that grew from simply a group of editors intending to put together an anthology and find a publisher. Now we are publishers, and we're looking forward to years of growth and excellence.

My family is doing well, Jeffrey driving a truck, though now he's in Michigan with Samantha. She moved there to be nearer her family and will soon go back to school. David as he noted on his blog this morning is facing surgery, but things are looking good for him and Dezi. We went to London together for new years, and that's actually the only international travel I did in 2007. I'll fix that, going with Linda Jones to Spain and Portugal in March. Life is big, and I'm living it large, though physically smaller. Let's GO!
